Experience :

• Over 5 years of experience in large enterprise production environments with high transaction volume.
• Experience in Database monitoring and threshold tuning.
• Experience in SharePoint specific SQL management and administration.

Qualification :

• Bsc. in Engineering or Computer Science.
• MS SQL Server Certification (MCSE, MCSM).

Technical Skills :

• Understanding of relational and Data warehousing concepts.
• Clear understanding of Database design, referential integrity and application development life cycle.
• Formulate and implementing appropriate backup strategies.
• Formulate and implementing DR strategies.
• Performance tuning - instance level and query (execution plans etc.).
• Recommendations on upgrades and patches.
• Working knowledge on Database security concepts.
• Implementing and providing support for SQL Server Clusters.
• Understanding with standard Change Control Procedures.
• Good understanding of Database hardware design and disk subsystem.
• Understanding and experience in working with IIS, Apache and tuning production systems.
