Responsibilities:

• Having demonstrable experience in performing capacity planning of database servers, the database itself, and other database related resources.
• Should need to understand session management, perceived loads, n-tier architectures.
• Having hands on experience defining database organizations, indexing methods, performing conceptual and logical data modeling.
• Experience with high availability and high scalability database architectures.
• Analyze access patterns and propose the best combination of indexes, constraints, foreign keys and queries.
• Should have experience in database monitoring and performance tuning.
• Develop stored procedures, triggers and test cases needed for upgrading Systems minimizing downtime (0) and maintaining backward compatibility implemented database security.
• Ability to design Cloud / Multi-tenant DB's is a plus.
• No-sql database experience is a plus.
• Experience in AWS a plus.

Qualifications & desired skills

• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• At least 5 years of postgraduate experience involving database technologies.          
• Effective communication skills, organizational, time management and planning skills.
