Required Skills
- Excellent knowledge in PHP, Javascript, CSS, HTML & OOP; Thorough knowledge of current web development, application software development trends & standards;
- Exposure to MVC based development concepts & standards;
- Excellent knowledge of Linux, Postgres/Mysql & Apache platforms;
- A sharp mind with the ability to grasp concepts quickly and work out complex logic problems;
Preferred Skills
- Team / Project management skills.
- Exposure on Codeigniter & Jquery/DHTMLX frameworks is a plus
- OO Design skills
- Be able to communicate well in English with a team of English speaking members.
Experience
- Six to 12 months experience as a PHP web developer and having completed (on your own or being part of team) at least one major online application within the above mentioned time frame.
- Superior knowledge of current coding standards, techniques, and possibly a strong online portfolio displaying user-centered software development.
- Ability to design data structures for the purpose of application development.
Responsibilities
- Development of web applications and scripts (which includes working with other software APIs, full online software development for internal and external use) using PHP, Javascript, SQL scripts.
- Be able to handle multiple projects and deadlines at once while working in a dynamic environment.
