A multinational IT company is looking for the above.

Job role

• Building and maintaining Test Automation Frameworks for different platforms and products.
• Automate test cases of new product features, execute test suits, analyze and report results.
• Evaluate and introduce new tools and technologies for test automation.

Candidate profile

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification (Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science preferred)
• ISTQB Foundation Level Certificate and Certified ScrumMaster will be an added advantage
• Oracle Certified Professional, Java SE 6/7 Programmer is preferred
• Minimum 5 years of experience in software development or QA with last 3 years in Test Automation
•  Minimum 1 year of experience leading a test automation team
• Minimum 3 years of experience with Selenium Web Driver / Marathon / MonkeyTalk / Calabash / JUnit / TestNG / SoapUl / Java/JRuby/Groovy

Other Skill Requirements

• Good understanding and exposure to proper software engineering practices in Iterative and Agile environments
• Good understanding on pragmatic test automation concepts.
• Knowledge on performance testing, modeling and identification of bottlenecks (for load testing) and tools are advantages.
• Knowledge of development practices (OOP and procedural approach) and common design patterns (singleton, page object, decorator, factory, wrapper, etc.)
• Knowledge of theory and practices on relational databases along with querying skills.
• Knowledge on XML based technologies and service model (XML, XSLT, XSD, DTD, WSDL) / version control systems, build tools and OS related scripting
