SUMMIT Professional Services

SUMMfT Professional Service is a professional arm of PFAK Adventure Travel Group. SUMMIT was formed to provide global IT support for PEAK by maintaining and enhancing the Enterprise IT systems. We are now looking for an excellent team player to work in a supportive team environment which services organizational requirements.

We are now looking for a PHP Drupal Developer to work in a supportive team environment which services organizational requirements. This role will require you to contribute to technical design by participating in technical team discussions and documenting outcomes, leading to strong development, resulting in successful implementation.

• Manage, develop and optimize Drupal implementation
• Co-ordinating with themers to release templates and custom functionality
• Provide accurate progress updates
• Ensure all risks and issues are escalated to the project manager
• Preparing and maintaining documentation

Qualifications and Experiences

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in IT
• Extensive understanding of PHP, CSS
• Experience in the use of source control i.e. SVN or CVS or GIT
• Experience with LAMP environments including interacting with a shell interface
• Experience in developing from formal technical specifications and related documents

Added advantageous given to candidates who possess:

• Experience developing for Drupal 6 or 7
• Experience interfacing with web service technologies
• Exposure to web analytics packages
• Knowledge & practical application of eCommerce
