Troubleshoot and rectify issues reported.Develop comprehensive user guides

Under the genreal supervision of Chief of Operations, the consultant will be responsible to develop new features and maintain software systems for Unicef Sri Lanka.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop new features as per the given specifications.
  • Maintenance of the systmes, analysis and implementation of change requests
  • Troubleshoot and rectify issues reported.
  • Develop comprehensive user guides

Minimum Qualifications/ Experience

  • University degree or higher diploma in information technology
  • Minimum three years experience in software development
  • Minimum one years working experience in PHP/MySQL platform

Language Proficiency:

Fluency in both oral and written English and one local language (Sinhala & Tamil) required.

Skills and competencies

  • Good analytical skills.
  • Strong skills in system development and web based technologies.
  • Demonstrated behavior of professional and personal ethics.
  • Demonstrated capacity to work bothe independently and as part of a team.
  • Good judgment combined with a proactive and energetic approach to rpoblem solving.
