Engineer/Senior Engineer – Technology
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an IT Support role.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree with formal training/certification in IT
Technical / Soft Skills:
- Experience using UNIX – ability to navigate in a Solaris environment, and write and debug shell scripts.
- Experience using Oracle SQL/stored procedures – ability to write/modify Oracle SQL queries and stored procedures.
- A good understanding of Java technology and how to read a Java JVM error log.
- Experience with the following technologies: Web Logic, Oracle databases, IBM MQ, JAVA EJB, and Java JMS
- Excellent communication skills – a good command of written and spoken English.
- Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Willing to work flexible hours in rotating shifts; including nights and weekends.
- Ability to follow documented processes to respond to requests and troubleshoot issues.
