Vacancies for 2 short term Project Coordinators
1.Project Coordinator-NGO Capacity Building (Contract period maximum 14 months)
Key Deliverables:
The project coordinator will be responsible for overall coordination of all project activities both programmatic andfinancial. He/she will be responsible for planning, implementing and monitoring of all project activities according to the project activity plan agreed with the European Union. He/She will prepare periodical progress reports on the project for NPC and its donor He/She will be responsible for budgeting and budget management of partners in accordance to the temis and conditions agreed with the EU. He/She will assist external evaluators, auditors and other donor appointed parties who will assess the project at different times. He/She will coordinate necessary training for key project partners with the view of strengthening their capacity and program delivery.
2 .Project CoordinatorLLRC Awareness Creation (Contract period maximum 10 months)
Key Deliverables:
The project coordinator will be responsible for overall coordination of all project activities both programmatic and financial. He/She will be responsible for planning, implementing and monitoring of all project activities according to the project activity plan agreed with the European Union. He/She will prepare periodical progress reports on the project for NPC and its donor (according to donor requirements) He / She will be responsible for budgeting and budget management. He/She will assist external evaluators, auditors and other donor appointed parties who will assess the project at different times.
Qualifications and experience desired:
· A basic degree or professional qualifications in Economics, Management, Finance, Development Studies or related discipline.
· At least five years experience in programme management in an NGO/INGO or International Development Agency.
· Goodknowledge of MS Office package
· Good presentation & communication skills
· Excellent time management and report writing skills
· Willingness to travel to all parts of the country.
· Excellent working knowledge of English with a good knowledge of Sinhala /Tamil is desirable.
