Asst. Manager - Civil Projects Division

As a leading Engineering company, with a range of completed and ongoing projects requiring diverse areas of expertise, we are on the lookout for dynamic individuals with positive attitudes, as well as commitment and enthusiasm, to fill the following vacancy.

Duties

  • Be able to work independently as a Sector Head/Unit Manager.
  • Drive day-to-day project activities through the application of sound project management methodologies.
  • Manage projects profitably, while meeting tough deadlines. Plan, organize resources, lead.
  • Monitor the projects to ensure they are delivered within agreed time frames.
  • Analyze and maintain cost and quality standards during all stages of the project.
  • Prepare project progress reports for monitoring & evaluation purposes.
  • Be responsible for reporting the implementation progress to the management.

Requirements

  • Degree in Civil Engineering (B.Sc).
  • Minimum of 3 years of post-qualifying experience in project management in a reputed organisation.
  • Possess the ability to deal with state authorities and utility bodies.
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and Sinhala.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Should be a strong leader with excellent interpersonal skills and team spirit.
  • Ability to work long hours.
