Banking Assistant - Network
Cargills Bank Limited, are searching for a savvy, enthusiastic, youthful, instructed, experienced outcome arranged and dynamic,suitable contender for the post.
Duties
- System Administration, Management and fault resolution of Linux servers.
- Manage VMWare and KVM Virtualization platforms.
- Installation, configuration, performance monitoring and system tuning of Linux servers.
- Installation, Configuration, Tuning and Monitoring of Application Software.
- Application Servers and Web Servers on Linux Platforms.
- Managing users and security controls on Linux servers.
- Applying patches for applications.
- Maintaining logs, forms and records of all system activities.
- Preparing new server environments for new application requirements for the bank and implementation of the new applications
- it Securing Linux servers by using recommended best practices and applying fixes recommended.
Requirements
- An IT related degree/ Diploma or an undergraduate in IT.
- Network related certifications (preferred CCNA).
- Operating System related certifications (preferred MCSA).
- Demonstrated experience in IT operations.
