Environment Senior Executive

We operate 24 production facilities to better serve our customers. Our distribution network spans over more than 100 countries, including 20 where we have our own footprint. We are partner with all the major original equipment manufacturers. We operate as Camso Loadstar in Sri Lanka. We have significant presence, with over 5500 employees in 10 manufacturing facilities and 1 out of 4 R&O centers. We produce enhanced tires, tracks and track systems. We provide our product & service through our 4 business units: Power Sports, Construction, Agriculture and Material Handling. The Challenge The ideal candidate will be responsible for the implementation of health and safety policy and procedures in manufacturing sites, so that all employees have a safe and healthy working environment complying with current and future regulations and laws in safety aspects.

Duties

  • Identify, implement and maintain the operational controls in line with ISO 14001 and OSHAS 18001 management systems.
  • Identify & ensure continual improvements and eliminate OHS hazard and significant environment aspects.
  • Maintain zero major and fatal accidents while maintaining the Accident Frequency Rate (AFR).
  • Accident Severity Rate (ASR) values within the targets.
  • Ensure updated legal and other requirements of Safety, Health & Environment are met & properly maintained in the site.
  • Plan and ensure the periodic SHE audits are conducted as per the audit plan.
  • Post audit while taking corrective and preventive actions accordingly.
  • Visit alt locations in the site to ensure that the safety.
  • Health and Environmental practices are complying with the safety.
  • EMS policy of the organization.
  • Ensure Safety, Health and EMS Training Programmed are conducted for all Employees.
  • Staff Members and our sourced/contracted employees.
  • Properly Co-ordinate with Central SHE Department to get the support from external parties (Bol, CEA, Labour dept, etc..).
  • As per the plant requirements.

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering or Diploma in Chemical.
  • Mechanical or Polymer science.
  • A minimum of 4-7 years relevant industrial experience.
  • Proven & up-to-date understanding of all aspects of the subject Safety, Health & Environment.
  • Should be an energetic, motivated team player.
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills.
