Foreman - Gypsum

We are on the look-out for a competent Foreman for our client, a leading interior decoration company specializing in high quality interior decoration works. With over 33 years of experience (in the Middle East) in the field of Interior Decoration, Joinery & Furniture manufacturing, the company undertakes turn-key interior contracts for Palaces, High-end Villas, Hotels and Commercial establishments.

Duties

• Extensive hands-on experience on various construction projects preferably with experience in hotels and residences turnkey interior projects.
• Ability to manage workers/ subcontractors and assigning area to work.
• Ability to provide technical support for the installers, onsite markings as per the shop drawings and general idea on Civil and MEP works to ensure proper interface coordination onsite.
• Maintain records of manpower allocation, material usage, quantity of work done etc.
• Ensure safety of the workers and maintaining a safe working environment as per the set guidelines. Regular liaise with safety officers to understand site safety plans and monitor performance.
• Inspect the quality of the work and make corrective and preventive action as necessary.
• Communicate clearly with sub-contractors, other contractors and company management and coordinate the requirements.

Requirements

• Fluent in English, both written and oral.
• 5-10 years of experience  (executing high end Hotel Fit-Out Projects).
• Outstanding influencing skills and the ability to work well in both team oriented.
• Self-directed environments.
• Salary will be negotiable.
