Sales Executive

An award-winning hotel in Colombo is looking for a vacancy.This role will require you to be responsible for meeting Sales budget targets by attracting business from Travel Agents, Online Travel Agents, Tour Operators and Corporate market.

General

• Qualified persons capable of working inpidually with excellent communication skills and extensive knowledge of revenue management. Knowledge of using OTA extranet systems is highly recommended.
• Following up new business leads while planning and preparing presentations for product development.
• Report writing and communicating new product developments to prospective clients are necessity requirements.

Duties

• Identifies trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements; tracking inpidual contributors and their accomplishments.
• Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities.
• Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities; recommending equity investments.
• Develops negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with company strategies and operations; examining risks and potentials; estimating partners' needs and goals. 
• Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations.
• Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.

Requirements

• Persons below age of 40 having minimum of 5 years experience as a Sales Executive in the hospitality field need only apply. 
• Needless to say, persons with excellent command of English and/or Italian with very good communication skills would be given preference.
