Senior Accountant

Diversified private company engaged in import and distribution of pharmaceutical, Surgical and allied products, having its Engineering and Construction arm newly established, is looking for a professional individual with integrity, honesty and ability to fill the post of Senior Accountant- Projects.

Job Role

• Responsibility of overseeing the financial/costing/project management needs of construction and Engineering arm of the company together with similar needs of other associate companies.
• Preparation and presentation of monthly and weekly cash flow forecasts to the senior management.
• All accounting and financial reporting work related to a construction and Engineering Company including vetting of pre bid costing, and - reporting to General Manager - Finance.
• Treasury Management including implementation of systems and controls with a manual of procedures.
• Liaise with banks and other statutory institutions.

Qualification

• Be an ACA or an ACMA (UK), a Chartered Accountant is preferred.

Skills & Experiences

• Have minimum 5 years post qualification experience of which 02 years in middle Management level.
• Have experience in automated project cost accounting systems.
• Possess good analytical skills and communication skills.
• Experience in Construction field will be an advantage.
