Senior Web Developer - Python
A leading multinational company from the IT sector is currently on the lookout for candidates for the following position.
Duties
- Development of websites where your focus is on developing the back end and the CMS.
- Writing server-side web application logic.
- Connect the application with the other third-party web services.
- Support the front-end developers by integrating their work with the Python application.
- Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications.
- Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server side logic.
Requirements
- Degree in IT or Computer Science or Equivalent.
- 4+ yrs experience preferably developing websites and web applications on a large scale.
- Expert in Python, and knowledge of Python web framework - Django.
- Familiarity with MySQL, PostgreSQL, memcached, nginx and uwsgi.
- Familiarity with Scrum methodology.
- Experience with front-end development (HTML/CSS, JavaScript).
- Continuous integration.
- Pair programming, unit testing or TDD.
- Understanding of the differences between multiple delivery platforms.
- Such as mobile vs desktop.
- Optimizing output to match the specific platform.
